Ore Agbaje-Williams
@oreagbaje-williams
A collaborative and driven writer and storyteller, committed to transforming words into meaningful encounters, both familiar and new in various forms.
What I'm looking for
I am an innovative and original copywriter, novelist, editor and project manager who transforms words into meaningful encounters across traditional and new channels. I combine editing, talent scouting and commissioning experience – having worked as Editor-at-Large at Merky Books (Penguin Random House) and on projects with HarperCollins, Bloomsbury and Dundas Communications — to take projects from idea to reality, always keeping the audience/consumer experience and functionality front of mind.
My experience is wide-ranging, including finding and supporting authors and clients, running workshops and hosting panels, working on marketing and publicity campaigns for fiction and non-fiction books, organisations and people, as well as leading open-submission initiatives that resulted in published work. My strengths include copywriting, project management from acquisition to publication, market research, commissioning, and developing compelling editorial and marketing materials that excite readers and stakeholders.
