Olateju Sotunbo

At Dialectra, I contribute native Yoruba voice recordings, transcriptions, and linguistic feedback to support speech datasets for AI training. I also assist with dialect-aware audio collection and annotation, applying my understanding of Yoruba accents, intonation, and cultural expression.

At NACOLM, I taught adult learners to pronounce the Yoruba alphabet and form words correctly. I guided practical reading, writing, and conversation, adapting explanations to learners’ needs and assessing their progress.

During teaching practice at Winners Group of School (Ago Iwoye), I planned and delivered Yoruba lessons and supported students through teaching and assessment.

I hold a B.A.Ed. in Yoruba from Olabisi Onabanjo University. I’m interested in language work that helps technology better understand and serve Yoruba speakers.
