What I'm looking for

A fully remote frontend role where I own features end to end. I do my best work on product surfaces with real complexity — calendars, dashboards, data-heavy interfaces — and on codebases where frontend architecture is still being shaped.

React and TypeScript core stack. Based in Abuja (UTC+1), comfortable with European hours or US-East mornings. Open to full-time or contract.

Frontend engineer with 4+ years building production web applications across AI, civic-tech, and edtech products. I specialize in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with deep work in design systems, state management, and API integration layers.

Most recently I spent 16 months on contract rebuilding an AI-powered calendar scheduling platform from a legacy jQuery product onto React 18 and TypeScript. I built the product's core calendar interface from scratch without a third-party calendar library — overlapping-event layout, timezone handling, recurring events, drag-to-create selection, mobile swipe navigation — and owned a collaborative task-sharing feature end to end. I also migrated the styling layer to a themed light/dark design system and scaled the product's internationalization.

Before a dedicated designer joined the team, I designed the landing page, feature pages, and calendar UI in Figma on my own initiative and shipped them to production.

I hold a First Class Honours B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Based in Abuja (UTC+1), open to fully remote roles with European or US-East overlap.
