What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and reproducible data pipelines to complex, high-stakes research problems while collaborating with cross-functional clinical and technical teams.

At the Brotman Baty Institute and University of Washington, I design functional genomics assays and statistical models that help resolve variants of uncertain significance for the NHGRI IGVF Consortium. I co-authored two multi-institution genomics studies on scalable evidence-based variant resolution in RAD51D and XRCC2.

Previously, with the Seattle Flu Study and Seattle Flu Alliance, I built Python and Bash pipelines that reduced manual review time by 30% while improving accuracy across large datasets. My work combines data acquisition, cleansing, quality control, molecular diagnostics, and quantitative validation.

I translate complex experimental and genomic findings into clear summaries for clinical collaborators and non-technical stakeholders, while maintaining reproducible, audit-ready workflows. I also bring experience coordinating whole-genome sequencing and clinical data collection under GCP and HIPAA requirements.
