Obidike Josephine

I'm Onyinyechi, a finance and administrative professional based in Lagos, Nigeria. I studied Public Administration at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and somewhere along the way found that the part of work I enjoy most is the detail work everyone else tends to skip over: reconciling accounts until the numbers actually match, tracking down where a report went wrong, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

That instinct has taken me through a few different roles. At Xperion Technology, I handled invoicing, financial reporting, and budget tracking, and I was often the person the finance team leaned on during audits because I catch things early. Before that, I spent time reconciling stock for a supermarket at the Naval Headquarters in Abuja, where I got the accuracy rate up to 99%. I've also done freelance customer chat support, managed social media accounts (I once grew a client's following by 99% in a single quarter, which still surprises me a little), and written financial content that takes complicated ideas and makes them make sense to a normal reader.

More recently I picked up SQL and completed the Google Data Analytics Certificate, because I wanted a sharper way to answer the questions I was already asking with spreadsheets. I'm currently working toward the ICAN accounting qualification as well.

What I'm looking for now is remote or freelance work where those things overlap: careful financial and administrative support, clear writing, and analysis that holds up when someone checks it. I like being the person a team trusts to get the numbers right.
