What I'm looking for

I'm looking for challenging roles where I can build scalable web, mobile, and cloud-native products, lead technical direction, improve engineering quality, and help teams grow through mentoring and modern development practices.

I've built payment experiences for Marks & Spencer, intelligent energy billing capabilities at Kaluza, and clinician platforms for CancerIQ. Across these products, I deliver scalable REST and GraphQL APIs, event-driven services, and modern web applications.

I've led end-to-end design systems and component libraries at Tesco, giffgaff, and The Economist, using atomic design, Storybook, styled-components, visual regression testing, and comprehensive unit and interaction tests. At giffgaff, I designed and delivered a React Native mobile platform with Apollo GraphQL, Kubernetes, Jenkins automation, AppCenter releases, CodePush updates, and Firebase feature management.

I've been building applications across web, desktop, Smart TV, and mobile for over 20 years. I also created open-source tools including Console.IO for remote debugging on constrained devices and child-process-es6-promise, and I enjoy challenging roles where I can improve platforms, quality, and developer practices.
