What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can hit the ground running, own full-stack delivery (FE/BE/API), and adapt quickly. I want opportunities to work with other hard working developers, write strong documentation, and keep improving by learning what the role needs most.

I’m a contract Full Stack Software Engineer with 18 years of commercial experience, and I specialize in “hitting the ground running” by adapting to what’s needed most for a new team. I’m self-motivated, optimistic, and known for excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

I’ve delivered client-facing web and application launches across insurance, retail payments, and enterprise teams—helping ship new architecture, responsive FE work, and reliable BE/API integrations. Recent highlights include supporting a SunLife website launch at Waracle (FE Remix, BE and API on .NET Core 8, hosted on Azure), building support-case web/phone apps at Awen Communications (Node.js, React, Vue, Tailwind, AWS, Dynamics 365), and launching Sainsbury’s Argos Monthly Payment Plan (React front-end, Node APIs, unit/integration tests; AWS serverless architecture).

I actively mentor and provide constructive criticism to help engineers grow, and I enjoy creating technical documentation. As a passionate, proactive learner, I’m eager to improve, maximize my skills, and take on challenges—because I believe “anything can be learned with enough effort.”
