I design and implement end-to-end architectures, modernise legacy systems such as MS Access, VBA and COBOL, and lead teams through migrations to .NET and Azure using pragmatic patterns like the strangler pattern. I combine architecture, implementation, deployment, and support to deliver production-ready systems with enterprise-grade security.

Recent achievements include evolving the APAS insurance platform, designing an Azure OpenAI-powered Teams chatbot for secure policy queries, and redeveloping a COBOL social welfare processing system into ASP.NET with improved test coverage, custom authorization and a rules engine.

I mentor developers, enforce best practices (TDD, SOLID, CI/CD), and seek to drive cloud-native modernisation, DevOps adoption, and practical AI/LLM integration in delivery-focused organisations.
