At Atlassian, I build an internal AI knowledge platform that unifies engineering documentation, source code, runbooks, and support knowledge for thousands of engineers. I develop production retrieval services with Python, Go, LLMs, semantic search, and RAG.

I redesigned knowledge indexing and retrieval using pgvector, metadata-aware ranking, and hybrid search, improving relevance without increasing query latency. I also built event-driven microservices processing millions of engineering events daily and helped reduce synchronization delays to seconds with Kafka and AWS EventBridge.

Previously at Epic Systems, Algolia, Looker, and Google, I built and modernized high-scale backend platforms spanning healthcare workflows, distributed search, analytics, and infrastructure services. My work has included reducing API response times by nearly 45%, cutting search latency by roughly 35%, and improving report generation times by more than 40%.

I stay hands-on while leading architecture, reliability, and platform modernization efforts. I enjoy building secure, observable cloud systems, mentoring engineers, and turning complex operational and AI challenges into reliable products.
