I’m an AI/software engineer with a long infrastructure background and 13+ years at the same government office. I focus on production AI pipelines and the internal systems people rely on every day.
In my current AI Engineer role, I built a full-stack natural language GIS tool from scratch, pairing a Python/FastAPI backend with a React/MapLibre frontend. Users type plain-English commands and the LLM pipeline handles intent, filtering, symbology changes, custom columns, and structured JSON responses that drive the map.
I also took over and stabilized production systems, including a serverless communication platform used by 40,000+ users. I learned the inherited Lambda/DynamoDB/Step Functions/Twilio/Monday.com stack, corrected logic flaws, and extended workflows for silent registration processing with confidence in production.
I bring the same “make it reliable” mindset to AI and automation: building a production email pipeline with prompt-driven classification and entity extraction, replacing brittle regex, and training prompts on 300+ labeled emails.
