Performed vendor selection for a Security Intelligence Engineering capability to support SecOps Intel strategy. Stood up and integrated CNAPP/CSPM/CIEM/DSPM with a SIEM baseline, and partnered with SaaS product owners to populate an OCSF-based Data Lake.

Trained customers on threat detection and incident response to support SecOps at scale. Enabled SRE strategy for healthcare/life sciences customers, developed a healthcare datalake strategy, and supported continuous delivery and continuous compliance for regulated industries.

Created a cloud adoption business strategy that generated new revenue with positive million-dollar EBITA impact. Built security intelligence engineering programming and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures with Kubernetes and Spinnaker, reducing new cloud environment creation from days to hours and improving MTTR from hours to minutes.

Improved engineering/operations alignment by initiating a configuration capture process and educating teams on AWS and application protection capabilities. Introduced OWASP tooling to strengthen continuous delivery and SecDevOps, and supported a production AWS EMR cluster for 21 CFR Part 11 while optimizing cloud cost and performance.

Designed IAM security architectures for health insurance organizations to exceed HIPAA requirements, and architected global identity integration solutions for retail and airline customers. Reduced onboarding time for 30K seasonal hires from days to hours and expanded customer engagements through technical demonstrations.

Educated customers on Identity and Access Management and delivered Tivoli Directory Integrator solutions for directory integration efforts. Trained teams on CA Identity management and Oracle SOA Suite IAM capabilities, including Tivoli IAM deployment, custom Java development, and business process integration.

Proposed and led adoption of TDD/XP practices, including standing up continuous integration around Subversion, ClearCase, Ant, JUnit, and Hudson/Jenkins. Architected and developed Java middleware components and portal services for a federated SSO solution using Tivoli IAM and Amazon EC2-hosted integration.

Supported a transition to Java by guiding enterprise Java and JBoss-based architecture definition. Architected, built, and delivered a mission-critical resource scheduler engine exceeding requirements, and developed embedded C++ data center management functionality while expanding Linux/PHP blade management features.

Reviewed and prioritized IT proposals by assessing project needs and requirements, and developed information and data using advanced ethnographic elicitation techniques. Built a VB.NET prototype to support point-of-capture context quality for Nautical Archaeologists.

Supported teaching and research focused on human cognition and information interpretation, acting as technical lead and project manager for IT projects. Designed and delivered a research platform for educational psychology studies used by multiple K-12 school districts as part of a $3.1M research program.
