Build event-driven backend services in Java, Spring Boot and Kafka for high-reliability clinical trial platforms. Implemented event sourcing for clinical trial data, improving accuracy, auditability and system performance.

Led backend development for Ayoba, a large-scale consumer messaging app, owning its core microservices engine. Designed and shipped scalable services on NestJS, AWS Lambda, ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB and CloudFormation.

Engineered and operated a real-time notification service delivering on behalf of internal and external AWS customers. Optimised CI/CD pipelines, reducing deployment times by ~40% and accelerating team release cadence.

Built an internal case-management service used by AWS support engineers to resolve customer cases faster. Delivered features across DynamoDB, CloudFormation, IAM, VPC and Lambda in Java, Python and TypeScript.

Built Fertility Astrology, a consumer Android health app, in Java/Kotlin with Firebase and REST API integrations. Improved application performance and applied Material Design for a modern, accessible interface.

Ran and analysed Earth systems and ocean models on the CHPC cluster, studying the Southern Ocean's role in climate change. Applied Python, Django and ML techniques to evaluate climate-model accuracy.

Built a sentiment-analysis model predicting public response to the 2019 State of the Nation Address from social datasets. Developed a companion Android app to visualise model outputs for programme stakeholders.

Completed an Honours degree in Computer Science, deepening expertise in specialized areas of the field.
