What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue driving cloud-native software delivery from architecture through deployment, combining hands-on engineering, team mentorship, stakeholder alignment, and growing strategic leadership capability through my MBA.

I'm delivering two concurrent cloud-native client projects as an independent senior software engineer, including a multi-tenant PACS medical imaging platform for Germany. I build NestJS microservices and Angular frontends, architect tenant isolation, and manage Kubernetes deployments and imaging-study migration to AWS S3 and MinIO.

At Marks & Spencer, I delivered backend services across roughly 20 pricing-domain microservices and built event-driven Azure integrations with Kafka. I also contributed an internal Angular developer-tooling application and security hardening for Azure services.

At BMW IT Hub South Africa, I led a greenfield project for the region, owning architecture, infrastructure, releases, production support, and stakeholder engagement. I mentored engineers, introduced Agile improvements, designed observability with Grafana and Loki, and used Terraform to reduce onboarding and setup time by 40%.

Earlier, I modernized BMW manufacturing platforms from monoliths to containerized Azure microservices, improved Angular performance by over 30%, and reduced release times by 70% through Jenkins pipelines. I've also delivered Java APIs for high-volume banking systems at First National Bank and healthcare claims capabilities at Entelect, while pursuing an MBA focused on strategy, leadership, and technology management.
