At Visa, I build mission-critical middleware platforms that process billions of financial transactions daily under strict availability, consistency, and latency SLAs. I led zero-data-loss database migrations, modernized legacy messaging platforms, and owned messaging design for distributed-service rollouts without customer impact.
I lead global disaster-recovery validation across Europe, South Africa, India, and North America, including failover, traffic redistribution, and graceful degradation. As the store-and-forward messaging SME, I use Grafana, log analysis, network diagnostics, and performance profiling to improve observability and reduce MTTR.
Previously at Delta Air Lines, I built the first REST-based API on TPF mainframe systems, connecting native JSON messaging to an OpenShift-hosted application and improving throughput by roughly 10x. I also supported AWS migration work, cargo-compliance databases, and major platform transitions.
I bring 15+ years of C++ systems engineering across payments and aviation, including airline reservation, cargo, maintenance, and flight-operations platforms. I enjoy mentoring engineers and have led hiring, onboarding, and C++ systems-programming training.
