Natasha Gentry
@natashagentry
Nursing leader and Area Director focused on high-acuity patient care, staff support, and continuous facility growth.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Area Director / Nurse Manager who helps facilities grow by leading clinical teams and ensuring high-acuity residents receive consistent, safe, and compassionate care. I manage clinical staff, oversee patient care and orders, and support residents and families through each phase of long-term care transitions, including 24-hour on-call responsiveness.
Across roles from Contract Nurse to Charge Nurse and Lead Nurse/Dosing Nurse, I’ve been responsible for medication administration, vital signs, assessments, documentation, treatments, and scheduled MD orders—while keeping MAR/TAR accuracy a priority. I also handle intake processes, coordinate with providers and pharmacy, obtain labs as ordered, administer urine drug screens, and support controlled substance safety through proper counts and documentation.
I’m driven by professionalism, calm communication, and follow-through—whether diffusing tense situations or mentoring and training staff so everyone can deliver the same quality of care. I bring experience with hospice/home care, managed care, triage, medical billing/coding, and EMR systems, and I’m motivated to continue growing while connecting with patients in a way that keeps them confident in their healthcare decisions and team.
