Nadezhda Marchenko

I’m Nadezhda Marchenko, an English teacher and translator focused on delivering clear, natural communication. My background centers on translating and interpreting with hands-on experience across classroom teaching, subtitles, and written content.

At Public school №152 in Krasnoyarsk, I teach English to elementary and secondary students while working as a simultaneous and consecutive English teacher (September 2025 - May 2026). Alongside teaching, I support language learning through an intern translator role, including work connected to the ABC show.

I translate English to Russian for practical formats like subtitles and public-facing materials, including translation of ADs. I’ve also contributed volunteer work translating on TED.com (September 2024), strengthening my ability to adapt meaning for real audiences.

I’m currently building deeper expertise through my BA in Linguistics (translation and translation studies) at KSPU in Russia, Krasnoyarsk (September 2022 - June 2026). I also completed vocational training as a Florist, landscape designer, which reflects my creative, detail-oriented approach.
