Muthamia Bonface
@muthamiabonface
Final-year Electrical & Electronics Engineering student focused on robotics, IoT and machine-learning-enabled automation.
What I'm looking for
I am a final-year Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering student with hands-on experience in robotics, power distribution and field electrical works. I have completed industrial attachments at Kenya Power and Lighting Company and Central Electricals International where I performed distribution line work, transformer testing, cabling and diverse installation tasks.
My academic projects include a semi-autonomous fire suppression robot that integrates a 3-axis robotic arm, caterpillar-wheeled base, multi-sensor perception and machine learning for fire detection and visual servoing. I have applied control engineering, power electronics and AI modules to design practical, safety-focused solutions.
I contribute to community and voluntary initiatives through Ubuntu Charity Foundation and local environment events, and I have led multidisciplinary teams in hackathons and research projects such as an EEG-based emotion classifier. I coach peers in C++, microcontroller programming and embedded development.
I am proficient with Microsoft Office, intermediate in Python (including machine-learning and embedded GUI), IoT development, and front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). I seek roles where I can apply robotics, embedded systems and automation skills to deliver impactful engineering solutions.
