What I'm looking for

My interests are in power systems, renewable energy, infrastructure, and asset management, and in engineering solutions that support reliable and sustainable operations.

At Kenya Pipeline Company, I gained practical exposure to pipeline station operations, including electrical systems, pumps, motors, and instrumentation. I supported inspection, maintenance documentation, and equipment checks for station electrical assets.

At the State Department for Public Works, I assisted with electrical design tasks for building services and used AutoCAD to support preparation and review of drawings and layouts. I also participated in site-based learning on electrical installations, safety standards, and maintenance practices.

For my final-year project, I researched the technical and financial sustainability of selected solar mini-grid systems in Kenya. I analyzed demand growth, renewable energy integration, system performance, and cost factors to develop recommendations for reliable and affordable energy access.
