At Swegeo, I develop autonomous ground-vehicle systems spanning ROS 2 software, embedded control, localization, vehicle integration, and operator tooling, with testing on physical platforms.
On Pathfinder, I developed a ROS 2 Humble autonomy architecture adapted for three UGVs: a tracked skid-steer platform, a 4x4 differential-drive rover, and an Ackermann RC crawler. I integrated RTK GNSS and dual-antenna heading with IMU data, and implemented Nav2 waypoint navigation and a FastAPI/WebSocket mission console.
I also developed and benchmarked a ROS 2-to-STM32H723 Ethernet/UDP motion-control link. It achieved 300 µs median C++ host RTT across 600,000 packets at 1 kHz, with zero packet loss or out-of-order packets.
At Baykar, I developed and evaluated moving-object detection approaches for UAV footage, then integrated YOLO11n and compared learning-based and classical computer-vision methods. I’ve also contributed to autonomous surface vehicles for the Njord and Teknofest competitions, including work on perception, route planning, and path tracking.
