What I'm looking for

I'm looking to grow in a fast-moving engineering team where I can build scalable backend systems, contribute across the SDLC, and deepen my cloud infrastructure and production deployment experience.

I'm a backend engineer. My work is building the parts of a product that have to be correct: APIs, permissions, payments, and data that people trust. I use Python, Django REST Framework and PostgreSQL, and I add Redis caching, WebSockets and background jobs when a product needs them.

I enjoy problems around access control, secure payments, data migration and keeping data accurate. I have built multi-tenant systems where each customer's data stays separate, real-time features like live tracking, and payment flows with server-side signature checks. I also handle deployment myself, including Linux servers, Nginx, Docker and CI/CD on AWS, so I think about performance and reliability while I write the code.

Most of my work has been with clients, where I owned a project from requirements to launch and handover. I've also won two hackathons.

I'm looking for a remote backend role on a team that cares about clean APIs and reliable systems. I'm interested in distributed systems and backend infrastructure, and I want to keep going deeper there.
