I am an experienced epidemiologist with a strong background in global health security, currently working at the Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Prevention. My role involves leading teams in the design and implementation of critical public health projects, particularly in the areas of surveillance and outbreak response. I have successfully facilitated training programs for surveillance officers across Nigeria, contributing to the strengthening of our national health systems.

Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in managing and analyzing data for various infectious disease outbreaks, including COVID-19, Lassa fever, and Yellow Fever. My commitment to public health is reflected in my ability to develop strategic plans and proposals that enhance our response capabilities. I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of public health professionals and ensuring that our efforts lead to a safer and healthier world for all.

Led the COVID-19 Technical Working Group (TWG) data collection, management, and analysis team, and supported outbreak investigations and data management. Developed and disseminated weekly surveillance updates and situation reports for COVID-19, and co-coordinated the UN Basket fund project for contact tracing and active case search.
