Odenke Ibiang
@odenkeibiang
I translate public health and policy evidence into advocacy, communications, and programme action.
What I'm looking for
I've supported WHO's measles-rubella integrated vaccination campaign through field supervision, health-worker training, and ODK-based rapid convenience monitoring. I help Primary Health Care teams reach eligible children and strengthen campaign delivery in target communities.
As a Public Health Mentor with the National Health Fellowship, I guide fellows in disease prevention, community mobilisation, health advocacy, routine immunization, and Primary Health Care interventions. Previously, at the Primary Health Care Development Agency, I monitored epidemiological trends, assessed disease risks, led community awareness activities, and produced recommendations for health-system improvement.
In my current government communications role, I translate policy and technical information into public-facing messages, briefing materials, and stakeholder communications. I bring an MPH in Epidemiology and experience connecting evidence, advocacy, government engagement, and programme implementation.
