I built a real-time Indian Sign Language detector that recognizes 24 static and 8 dynamic signs offline, without a GPU. Using MediaPipe, MLP, Bi-LSTM, and Tkinter, I achieved 99.2% static-sign accuracy and 98.75% dynamic-sign accuracy in a desktop app that builds sentences from live camera input.
I'm a Computer Science student at Banasthali Vidyapeeth and a research intern at IIT Kanpur, where I apply machine learning to genetic circuit design and 5' UTR DNA sequence-function modeling. I also serve as a Cisco Campus Ambassador and work with C, C++, Python, Java, Git, data structures, OOP, DBMS, and operating systems.
