Dedicated program coordinator with expertise in agricultural education.
What I'm looking for
I am a passionate program coordinator with a strong background in agricultural education and public health. My journey began at Texas A&M University, where I earned my Bachelor of Animal Science, followed by a Master’s of Public Health from Walden University. My academic foundation has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in the agricultural sector.
Currently, I lead the development and implementation of technical workshops and seminars for UTRGV, directly supporting over 200 beginning farmers and ranchers in South Texas. My role involves managing program operations, collaborating on federal grant proposals, and cultivating partnerships to enhance outreach and resource access for underserved communities. I take pride in designing educational materials that promote producer development and program visibility, ensuring that our initiatives align with USDA grant requirements and institutional goals.
Previously, I worked as a Vet Technician, where I honed my clinical skills and developed a deep understanding of animal health. My experience as a Resident Advisor at Texas A&M University further strengthened my leadership and problem-solving abilities, allowing me to create a supportive community for students. I am committed to fostering growth and development in both individuals and communities.
