Pricing & Revenue Leader | ex-Global Head of Pricing, Travelex | Dynamic Pricing, Yield & Margin Optimisation | £15M average annual EBITDA delivered |
What I'm looking for
I build pricing functions that turn margin into measurable EBITDA. Over 15 years at Travelex — the last nine as Global Head of Pricing — the function I led delivered c£10M+ a year in EBITDA from pricing initiatives, plus a further ~£5M from a dynamic pricing engine. Around £15M a year in total.
I joined in 2011 as Regional Pricing Manager for Asia-Pacific and was promoted three times, ending with global ownership of pricing strategy and rate setting across Retail, Online, ATMs, Payments and Partner channels, reporting to the Chief Customer Officer and leading a team of 10–15.
c£10M+ a year — pricing strategy, optimisation and automation. Named initiatives within that: £1M+ from tiered and differential pricing introduced across all markets; ~£0.5M from Travelex Plus, a customer rewards scheme, from its first market alone.
~£5M a year — dynamic pricing engine. I owned the commercial logic and drove it to live through internal IT delivery.
What makes the work stick is the combination behind it: two years of computer science inside an economics degree, then a Master of Applied Finance and CIMA. I model the commercial case, specify the system that delivers it, and hold the build to account — in Python, SQL, AWS and RPA. In practice that means I can sit between a commercial team and an IT team and be useful to both.
Sector depth in FX and currency services, and in travel distribution economics across air (Galileo GDS) and hotel inventory (GTA). Completing IATA Revenue Management certification in 2026.
I'm open to permanent and fractional pricing leadership roles, and to consulting engagements — pricing diagnostics, dynamic pricing design and rollout, and yield and revenue management capability build.
Europe-based (CET), Australian citizen, working with teams and clients globally.
