What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Middle School Math Teacher tutoring role (including online, part time) where I can create strong lesson plans, support students with IEP/504 needs, collaborate with others, and help learners grow through clear instruction and consistent follow-through.

I’m a K-12 Mathematics teacher with a strong foundation in subject matter education and teaching students with disabilities. I bring a STEAM concentration from my Master’s in Education and additional K-12 Computer Science teaching preparation, so I can connect math learning to real-world thinking.

Since July 2022, I’ve taught high school Mathematics (General Education) and Computer Science in Parsippany High School. I follow the daily schedule, create and implement lesson plans, and collaborate with colleagues to meet students’ needs through appropriate accommodations and modifications for IEPs and 504s.

Before that, I worked as a Mathematics Special Education Teacher at Central Middle School from September 2021 to July 2022, and as a Mathematics Special Education and General Education Teacher at David Brearley Middle-High School from July 2018 to June 2021. In every role, I focus on building structured instruction, planning lessons, and providing home instruction when needed.

Earlier experience includes substitute teaching and one-to-one teacher assistant work at Bergen County Special Services, along with substitute teaching through Hanover, Whippany, and Springfield Public Schools. I’m also experienced in student-centered support and recordkeeping—such as implementing instructional program books and recording and graphing data—because I believe progress should be tracked, reflected on, and improved.
