At Disney Streaming, I build shared Ruby on Rails authentication services that unify sign-in and token handling across consumer streaming applications. I improved token refresh processing with Sidekiq and Redis, packaged services in Docker for Amazon ECS, and added OpenTelemetry observability through Datadog and Amazon CloudWatch.
Previously at Nike, I developed customer profile and segmentation APIs for its CRM platform, using PostgreSQL transactions and Redis caching to eliminate conflicting campaign eligibility results. At Amazon, I delivered Java backend services for Product Detail Pages and reduced peak render latency through Memcached caching and asynchronous service calls.
I also engineered Java banking services at JPMorgan Chase, stabilizing settlement processing and standardizing Maven and Jenkins release workflows. I enjoy turning ambiguous platform requirements into maintainable, incrementally shipped systems while mentoring engineers through code reviews and shared engineering standards.
