Michael Danylchuk
@michaeldanylchuk
I build backend and platform security systems, shipping production software from Apple to my own SaaS.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Backend Software Engineer focused on systems, platform security, and production-grade infrastructure. I’ve shipped security-critical work at Apple and also built and operated my own SaaS platform end-to-end.
As Founder & Software Engineer at Danylchuk Studios LLC, I designed, built, and operated Seeker, maintaining 250,000+ live job postings and completing 12,000+ résumé analyses for 2,000+ users. I architected a production backend with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Fly.io, and GitHub Actions, supporting automated ingestion, search, authentication, subscription billing, and 400+ production deployments.
During my Apple internship (Trust & Safety), I expanded App Attest support across App extensions by implementing feature-gated attestation workflows and end-to-end verification. I also modernized App Attest implementations to Swift 5, added regression tests, and used Splunk-verified request metadata to support platform rate limiting during high-volume onboarding.
I’ve also built internal tools like StashPR (pull request visibility) and maintained Scope, a Radar monitoring utility with 300+ internal downloads. Beyond work, I led open-source BlazeDB—a cross-platform embedded database engine with ACID transactions and type-safe Swift query APIs.
