What I'm looking for

I'm seeking to apply my backend and platform engineering experience to build robust, high-performance platforms that accelerate engineering productivity.

At Apple, I build and maintain an internal release readiness and validation workflow platform supporting 500+ monthly validation runs and 150+ internal users. I improved validation-job completion reliability from approximately 91% to 98% and reduced P95 API latency from approximately 1.9 seconds to under 700 milliseconds.

Previously at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, I built backend services and Kafka event pipelines for fab operations, processing 500K+ equipment and process events per day. I improved manufacturing dashboard query times by roughly 45% through PostgreSQL and MySQL optimization, governed API-backed tools, Redis-cached data, and Grafana dashboards.

At Snap, I built internal developer productivity and platform operations tools for release coordination, service ownership, queue monitoring, support workflows, and operational reporting. I was promoted from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer in 2016 and reduced latency for frequently used internal views by approximately 35%.

I work across Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and observability tooling. I also contribute through architecture reviews, RFCs, code reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional delivery.
