What I'm looking for

I seek a hands-on engineering role where I can build scalable systems, mentor teams, drive security and reliability, and shape architecture in a collaborative startup environment.

I am a full-stack engineer with over a decade of experience in fast-paced startup environments, comfortable contributing across the stack from greenfield features to infrastructure modernization. I prioritize building scalable backend systems, intuitive frontend interfaces, and reliable infrastructure while mentoring engineers and guiding architectural decisions.

At my current role I designed and built a scalable document generation system using Go and NATS that produces 1,000+ customer reports monthly, modernized a JavaScript codebase to Go, and developed an OWASP-compliant vulnerability scanner. I have led SOC 2 compliance efforts, instituted engineering best-practice policies, and created a Learning Management System serving over 10,000 customers monthly.

I am hands-on across languages, databases, messaging systems, and cloud infrastructure, with experience implementing REST APIs, single-page applications, CI/CD pipelines, and automated security testing. I enjoy mentoring mid-level and junior engineers, participating in strategic product discussions, and continuously improving developer productivity and product reliability.
