At Mahr Metering Systems, I design custom industrial and laboratory equipment that meters and mixes chemicals across customer-specified flow rates, viscosities, and ratios. I create modular SolidWorks assemblies exceeding 1,500 parts, develop pneumatic controls, and integrate pumps, valves, flow meters, sensors, motors, VFDs, heat exchangers, and piping.
I collaborate with electrical, systems, mechanical, sales, project management, technicians, machinists, and welders to define scope, manage constraints, and design for manufacturability and assembly. I also build small-scale R&D and proof-of-concept systems, produce CNC, welding, and sheet-metal drawings, apply fluid dynamics and heat-transfer calculations, and provide customer troubleshooting support.
