I’m a detail-oriented Medical Biller & Coder with externship experience supporting billing operations in an ophthalmology practice. I’ve been trained in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CMS-1500 claim processing, insurance verification, and revenue cycle workflows, with a strong focus on compliant, accurate documentation.

During my Medical Billing & Coding Extern work at Center for Sight, I supported billing workflows for office visits, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care. I verified insurance eligibility and vision/medical benefits before billing activity, reviewed encounter documentation for coding readiness, and assisted with CMS-1500 claim preparation and submission to ensure accurate patient, provider, and payer data.

I bring strong customer service, data accuracy, and administrative support experience, built through receptionist and administrative roles that emphasized precise data entry, records organization, and schedule/calendar management. I’m currently trained through Medical Billing and Coding at Northwest Career College (CBCS: Pending) and I’m ready to contribute in an entry-level billing or coding position that supports timely reimbursement.
