What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend-focused role where I can build scalable APIs and real-time features, own distributed job scheduling, and ship reliable systems end-to-end—from design and security to deployment.

I’m a Backend Engineer focused on production-ready web applications—especially RESTful APIs, real-time services, and distributed background job scheduling. I’ve built and hardened systems with Node.js and Python (FastAPI), using PostgreSQL and MongoDB alongside Redis-backed infrastructure.

In internships, I implemented Server-Sent Events (SSE) with reconnection handling, built Redis rate limiting using Lua scripts for atomic behavior, and fixed production data-loss issues in file-upload pipelines. I’ve also designed fault-tolerant background job retry flows to reduce processing cascades and resolved integration conflicts while shipping features across auth and rate-limiting modules.

Beyond building, I’ve taught web development fundamentals and debugged student codebases around auth flows, API design, and database schemas—turning real-world deployment patterns into repeatable learning. From my projects, I’m comfortable architecting scalable scheduling systems (MinHeap, HashedTimingWheel, DLQ) and delivering real-time app experiences with Socket.IO, Cloudinary, and robust authentication flows.
