Maxim Kushnir
@maximkushnir
I build deterministic, event-sourced backend systems for reproducible high-throughput simulations.
What I'm looking for
At Ventute, I built the entire production asynchronous backend for an AI business-simulation platform used by real users. I designed its event-sourced deterministic kernel so historical computations replay bit-for-bit, with Python 3.11, FastAPI, async SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and pure reducers enforcing correctness by construction.
I also replaced a 1,000-line hand-ordered engine sequence with declarative orchestration and topological ordering, built a Rust PyO3/Rayon extension for parallel Monte-Carlo forecasting, and strengthened release safety through Prometheus, Grafana, CI-gated bug classes, and end-to-end verification. I contribute to Python and AI infrastructure through an open vLLM pull request that makes unsupported GPU architectures fail fast.
