Salvatore Lombardo

I am a Python-focused backend developer with practical experience building web applications using Django, Flask and FastAPI, backed by PostgreSQL and MySQL. I deliver production-ready features like management systems, e-commerce functionality, automated invoice generation and analytics.

I develop integrations with AI models and RAG pipelines, architecting systems that route requests between frameworks and persist embeddings to vector databases for semantic search. I also implement CI/CD and containerized deployments using Docker Compose and GitHub Actions.

Outside engineering I teach jazz guitar and serve as co-artistic director for a music association, bringing discipline, creativity and collaboration to my technical work.
