What I'm looking for

I am seeking a hands-on infrastructure or backup engineering role where I can apply automation, improve backup reliability, and grow in cloud and cybersecurity practices.

I am a Level 2 Help Desk and Infrastructure Technician with strong expertise in backup and restore services, infrastructure support, and incident management. I have hands-on experience with Veeam Backup, Veritas NetBackup, and Cohesity, and I have supported large-scale virtual machine migrations.

My background includes roles at DXC providing Backup & Restore support, a migration-focused Backup Administrator position, and Tier 1 Service Desk experience delivering remote technical support to global users in English. I also have practical experience with endpoint protection tools like Webroot and Huntress for basic cybersecurity and threat monitoring.

I bring scripting and automation skills using Python, familiarity with Git, Docker, jump servers, and web basics such as HTML/HTML5 and CSS. I am comfortable working with databases (MSSQL, MySQL) and common office productivity tools, and I hold cloud and data analysis certifications.

I am motivated to continue growing professionally in infrastructure and backup engineering, applying reliable operational practices and automation to improve system availability and recovery processes.
