I’m a mental health worker skilled in developing treatment plans for individuals living with severe mental illness and/or substance use disorders. I bring expertise in cultural competency, the harm reduction model, and client-centred care.
In my peer support role with the Canadian Mental Health Association, I increased awareness of recovery resources and supported people in overcoming barriers to recovery. I provided emotional and practical support to individuals and families, encouraged Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP), and facilitated self-help groups across multiple housing sites.
