What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Director/lead role where I can drive people-first engineering leadership, strengthen quality and automated testing, and deliver reliable architecture with measurable cost and throughput improvements—even through change and crisis.

I’m a people-first Engineering leader who guides teams through shared and private goals, builds consensus, and stays calm in crisis situations. Even in adverse circumstances, I keep teams motivated, productive, and focused.

As Director of Engineering (February 2025 – October 2025), I owned tactical and strategic engineering planning for the whole engineering team, balancing ~20 internal and ~25 external members. I stabilized teams during acquisition, integrated workflows with a new parent company, and orchestrated integration with new parent infrastructure to enable a 35% infrastructure cost reduction. I also set up quality engineering across new teams and requirements, including beta test runs.

Previously, as Engineering Manager (September 2022 – January 2025), I was the owner of overall product quality across Platform Engineering and managed a team of 8. I established a QA Centre of Excellence and rolled out quality engineering across 4 teams—reducing PR cycle time and increasing automated test coverage—while cutting computing costs by 25%. I also cleaned up inherited tech- and tool-stacks, reducing the number of services by 20% and decreasing tool misconfigurations, including through downsizing while keeping KPIs.

Earlier, as Build & Release Programmer (August 2018 – August 2022), I created a CI/CD department from the ground up, built an on-prem build cluster, and optimized build times. I coordinated efforts with multiple worldwide studios and supported successful releases (including “The Settlers: New Alliances”), carrying the same mediation, mentoring, and team-empowerment mindset throughout.
