What I'm looking for
As a committed educator with a dual Bachelor of Arts in European History and Psychology, I have a strong foundation in both the humanities and social sciences. My experience spans teaching at both the middle and high school levels, where I have successfully designed and delivered interdisciplinary lessons that align with state and Common Core standards. I pride myself on my ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including English Language Learners (ELL) and students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
In my current role at Lucas Middle School, I collaborate with my grade-level team and administration to analyze assessment data and develop targeted intervention plans for students who need additional support. My previous experience at Central High School allowed me to manage and track the academic progress of over 100 students across multiple classes, creating a fun and safe learning environment that fosters critical thinking and academic growth. I am passionate about cultivating a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and success.
