I seek a role that allows me to mentor others and foster spiritual growth.

I am Matthew Steven Black, a dedicated biblical counselor and educator with extensive experience in teaching and mentoring. I hold a PhD in Biblical Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and have served in various capacities within the church and educational institutions. My journey has been marked by a commitment to guiding individuals through their spiritual and emotional challenges.

Throughout my career, I have held significant roles such as Senior Pastor at Living Hope Bible Church, where I led a vibrant Hispanic ministry, and Vice President at Mecca to Christ International, where I focused on teaching and administration. My work as a Staff Counselor at the Biblical Counseling Center has allowed me to specialize in areas such as anger management, anxiety, and marital counseling, dedicating substantial time each week to support those in need.
