Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to mental health services.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience providing mental health services to diverse populations, including children, youth, families, individuals, and couples. My journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Spanish from Utah State University, followed by a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University. I am licensed in both Utah and Georgia, and I take pride in my ability to communicate fluently in Spanish, which allows me to connect with a broader range of clients.
Currently, I serve as the Clinical Director at Psychological Assessment & Treatment Specialists, where I oversee operations and manage a team of clinicians. My role involves not only providing therapy but also supervising clinical interns and ensuring the highest standards of care. Additionally, I have had the privilege of teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Touro University Worldwide and Brigham Young University-Idaho, where I share my expertise in family relations and therapy with aspiring mental health professionals.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to enhancing the mental health landscape in my community. I have experience in various therapeutic modalities, including premarital and couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, and family dynamics. My goal is to foster a supportive environment where individuals and families can thrive and achieve their mental health goals.
