What I'm looking for

I seek roles where I can apply my research, trade and market analysis expertise to support socioeconomic development, MSME growth, and evidence-based policy, ideally in collaborative, impact-driven teams.

I am a seasoned Senior Expert and Research/Consultancy Specialist with decades of experience across public, private and international organizations, including UN agencies. I have led trade information, market research and socioeconomic data collection initiatives, and supported project management, stakeholder mapping and M&E activities.

My career progressed from junior/statistician roles to senior specialist and researcher/consultant positions, delivering analytical reports, value-chain and business development support, and supervising statistical data collection and assessments. I have worked as an independent consultant and in institutional roles such as at the Ministry of Trade & Industry and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.

I hold multiple degrees including a BA in Economics, an MiB in International Trade & Business, an MA in Regional & Local Development Studies and an MSc in Food Security & Development Studies. I bring strong technical skills in SPSS, EViews, Stata, Microsoft Office, fast English typing, and a track record of supporting MSME and private sector development.
