Marianela Marcón

I’m an Early Childhood & Literacy Specialist with a Master’s in Specific Didactics (thesis in progress) and ongoing Specialization in Reading, Writing, and Education at FLACSO Argentina. My work blends literacy-focused pedagogy with inclusive design, underpinned by my university experience as Director/Co-director of undergraduate thesis projects and as an Adjunct Professor in a Children’s Literature Workshop.

In my current role as Director / Co-director of Undergraduate Thesis Projects (UNL), I evaluate and guide research on early childhood literacy, children’s literature, and specific didactics, while mentoring students through the design and writing of their final theses. As an Adjunct Professor (Children’s Literature Workshop), I designed and taught curriculum for children’s literature instruction, applying Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to create inclusive learning experiences and producing didactic materials and learning sequences.

In schools and classrooms, I develop Literacy and Language Arts curriculum for young learners and design play-based, literature-rich learning for children ages 3–5. I integrate AI tools for personalized content generation and also design didactic configurations and learning sequences that adapt to diverse classroom contexts and student needs.

I continue building my practice through training in Artificial Intelligence applied to education, including practical work using ChatGPT and educational AI platforms for content generation, lesson planning, and educational data analysis. With a strong focus on literacy instruction and accessibility, I’m seeking remote opportunities in curriculum design, educational consulting, or content development for early childhood and literacy.
