What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead IEPs, deliver SDI, and create an inclusive, behavior-positive learning environment—working closely with teachers, families, and related service providers to improve student outcomes.

I’m a dedicated special education professional with a strong track record of developing and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) and providing specially designed instruction (SDI) through both in-person and virtual supports. In my most recent role as a Virtual Resource Teacher/Case Manager, I prepared and implemented IEPs, conducted virtual IEP meetings, and taught academic skills, social skills, self-regulation (using Zones of Regulation), and executive functioning for students in grades 5–12.

Previously, as a Day Treatment/Behavior Regulation/Resource Teacher/Case Manager (K–6), I strengthened student outcomes through behavioral and academic interventions, including Check-In Check-Out, and coordinated with families and support staff. Earlier in my career, I served as an ECSE Special Education Teacher in an inclusive school setting and delivered term-based lesson plans, progress monitoring, parent workshops, and IEP meetings—always partnering closely with therapists and educators to modify and accommodate learning. I also bring classroom and academic experience from roles as a preschool teacher and college professor, plus operations leadership experience from an Operations and Sales Manager position.
