At Research, Innovation and Business Incubation Centre for Africa (RIBICA), I co-founded the centre and serve as project manager, providing consultancy, training, and research services in Wolaita, Southern Ethiopia Peoples Region.
Through RIBICA, I support NGOs, government offices, and startups and SMEs, with a focus on agriculture, sustainable and renewable energy, climate action, gender equality, employment, and WASH.
I also run a horticulture, ecotourism, and beekeeping business that contributes to biodiversity conservation and environmental protection, while helping local people mitigate climate change.
For more than 10 years, I have volunteered in climate justice advocacy and restoration of deforested land, including involving local youths in plant nursery and community activities. My academic work includes research on daily labour workers in Wolaita Sodo town and barriers to innovation adoption by small and micro enterprises.
