I'm currently a Laboratory Manager and Compliance Specialist at the University of the Virgin Islands College of Science & Math, where I uphold laboratory safety standards, manage compliance procedures, conduct internal reviews, and train employees on legal and ethical responsibilities.
I've contributed to biomedical and environmental research across the Virgin Islands and Miami, including residential cistern water testing at more than 100 homes and pollution-impact mapping using survey data from 681 residents. My work has connected contaminants to health risks and supported community-driven environmental health and policy initiatives.
My research experience spans antimicrobial compounds, gut health, menopause and cardiovascular risk, computational chemistry, and STEM leadership. I bring hands-on laboratory research, data analysis, regulatory awareness, and community-focused public health research to my work.
