What I'm looking for

I’m interested in applying my analytical and technical skills to solve real-world engineering challenges and contribute to practical solutions.

At the University of Johannesburg, I’m completing a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, with expected completion in November 2026. My final-year project is an Autonomous Mobile Robot with Computer Vision & SLAM.

For the project, I integrated an ESP32-CAM, Raspberry Pi, sensors and motor-control subsystems for monitoring and autonomous operation. I developed Python and Node-RED software and a live dashboard, and analysed system data to troubleshoot communication and integration issues.

Through the Industrial Robotics Training Programme, I gained hands-on experience programming and operating Yaskawa YRC1000 robots for pick-and-place and motion tasks. I also job-shadowed electrical power systems work at Siyavuya Power Projects, observing projects involving generation and distribution.
