I’m an emerging computer engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Computer Engineering (completed 2024) and a BEng Tech Honours in Computer Engineering (in progress) at Cape Peninsula University of Technology. I build practical solutions by applying engineering concepts through academic and personal projects.
I’m especially proud of my AI-Based Smart Home Automation System, where I designed an AI-driven control approach to manage household appliances and improve energy efficiency. I’ve also developed an Arduino-Controlled Washing Machine and an SDN-Based Router Network Simulation using four routers in VirtualBox and GNS3, scripting configurations with Thonny (Python GUI).
Alongside embedded and networking work, I create web experiences (Mazi — Browser-Based Game using JavaScript, HTML and CSS) and design databases (Bank System Database using MySQL with account management, transactions, and data integrity). I bring strong problem-solving, technical documentation skills, and a proactive approach to learning emerging technologies like AI and software-defined networking.
