I am a final-year BSc Engineering (Mechatronics) student at the University of Cape Town with a strong interest in robotics, automation, intelligent systems and control systems. I enjoy solving practical engineering problems by combining mechanical, electronic and software skills.

Throughout my degree, I have gained hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, autonomous systems, MATLAB, Arduino and engineering design. My projects include developing an autonomous micromouse capable of mapping and solving an unknown maze, working on a semi-autonomous sensing buoy designed for long-term polar deployment, and developing a low-cost autonomous mobile water-sampling platform in collaboration with researchers and students from multiple universities.

My current research focuses on investigating machine-learning methods for decoding Morse code from vibration signals. This has further developed my interests in signal processing, machine learning and intelligent sensing systems.

I am looking for a graduate engineering opportunity where I can apply my technical skills to real-world challenges, learn from experienced engineers and continue developing as a multidisciplinary engineer. I am particularly interested in robotics, automation, embedded systems, control, intelligent systems and related engineering fields.
