At FieldSENSE (Alphawave Mobile Network Products (Pty) Ltd), I became the primary developer responsible for core production and operations software after starting in production engineering. I improved production testing software to increase throughput by 20% and redesigned the customer-facing C++/Qt QML application with improved data visualisation and API integration.
I also developed microcontroller-based production automation, including a colour sensor and three-axis stepper motor controller. As the primary database administrator, I optimised a critical query from approximately 4 seconds to under 40 milliseconds, and I develop Python applications and REST API services that connect databases, hardware and users.
